Cups Coffee Café is a reincarnation of the old Java Rocket which closed its doors in summer of 2001.

Pam and Bruce Barker of Athens Art and Frame saw the need for a neighborhood gathering place and re-opened the coffee shop under and the new name Cups Coffee Café.

The new shop features plenty of room for people to meet, talk, study or use the free wireless internet.

To bring an artistic element to Cups Coffee Café the Barker’s have filled the walls with posters and scenes of Athens, which are all for sale. Many by local artists.
